The builder is always building, because once the building is built, it builds value in the life of the one who uses it.

Honestly, I haven’t had that world-impacting idea yet. Ideas are constantly flowing, and I’m grateful because they’ve taken me far in a short amount of time. However, I am still learning and creating my own philosophy and approach to life, and while that will be a lifelong pursuit, this is a great reminder to have patience and trust in the process of discovering new information and seeing how that resonates with my creative essence.

This brings me to an interesting thought I’ve been pondering…

The right idea hasn’t come yet. Or I would be working on it with every ounce of my being. I have a digital marketing & consulting agency, which is the vehicle for sharing my expertise on scaling engagement and creating innovative business systems but I also am working on other projects that I am similarly invested into on an energy level. All of these businesses are profitable, and will do great, but I don’t know if they are the one.

Partly because I am not sure yet, I am still developing and figuring out how I want to show up in the world at a deeper level. I ask myself what experience, product or service can I provide that will quite literally change the world? Will my agency change the world? No, that’s not its purpose. Will it bring me financial freedom… Yes, but I am here to change the world.

It’s the idea—the idea that will spark that 19-hour day grind that passes by in a blink. The idea that makes you buy a separate bedside journal because more ideas keep flooding in when you’re trying to sleep.

But how do we find this idea? Does it find us? Or do we just stumble upon it with random luck? I don’t know, but I believe the key is to learn. If you keep learning and surrounding yourself with new fields of technology, food, business, etc., something will start to form.

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.

Steve Jobs

For example, I’d consider myself extremely tech-savvy; however, there is so much I don’t know about tech. The other day I heard about a podcast where this guy sold a tech-adjacent software for 2 million dollars at 21. When he was explaining what it was and how it worked, I was lost. I had no idea something like that existed, how to even find something similar, or how it actually helped anything.

The thing is, he was an immigrant who came to America at 5. His parents had no money and still don’t speak English. He was homeschooled and is now worth 800 million dollars.

Why did he succeed? Because he kept finding those ideas. Somehow, someway, he found his way to this field of tech, made the right connections, continued to be curious, had an interesting idea, worked to execute it, and was provided with a trampoline to bounce off into the next profitable idea. In this case, the trampoline was a 2 million dollar exit within a year, which is not bad.
